It's been a week.
We flew home from Boston.
We lost Internet service.
We started Friday Co-op.
One of my siblings had major surgery.
My mom came into town.
It seemed like a logical week to let the blog simmer.
But, I do owe a couple of you an explanation.
Behold, the jocundity-in-a-bag known as Bananagrams. A favorite in my word-nerdy family of origin. If you haven't discovered it yet, you're in for a treat!

Welcome home!
I love that the letters come in a banana-shaped bag.
I love the bag too--it could hardly be called bananagrams without it, and there's something so delicious about pulling scrabble tiles out of a cloth banana! (my word-nerdy family also enjoys the game :-)
Hmmm...looks like Scrabble in a banana!
Welcome back to the land of the internet-addicted. ;)
Welcome back and wishes for a speedy recovery for your sibling.
Is Bananagrams the same as Speed Scrabble? Well I'm terrible at either!
Welcome back! I love, love, love scrabble, and I'm about the only one in my family that does...it looks like scrabble and a lot of fun!
bananagrams are INDEED wonderful! pretty close to speed scrabble, Jared... but in a handy-dandy zipper cloth banana-shaped bag! Coined with new play words like: SPLIT! (-READY,GO!), PEEL! (-take one!), Dump! (-return your unwanted letter face down into the pile in trade for taking THREE new ones), and BANANA! (-I WON!).
