Setting: The Breakfast Table
Caroline: Daddy, do farmers have computers?
Daddy: Well, they do now.
Caroline: Oh, so they used to just have wooden ones, and they'd pretend the pictures were moving?
[Yes, and I wonder whether their neighbors would all gather to help them build these wooden computers? Like a barnraisin'? Followed by a hoedown and maybe a spell of high-jinks cornshuckin'?
Those winter nights. They could sure get dull.]

Love. love love love love love.
What Hannah didn't say was how, after a shocked second of silence and double-take, we all enjoyed a good laugh. Caroline pretty quickly figured out she'd said something funny.
Yes, we loved it. Good times.
Love those moments! She knows she's funny, right?
fun fun! that's totally a "Kids say the darndest things" comment. haha...
wooden computers - that is hilarious!
That is HILARIOUS! And it reminds me that the day our 25 chicks arrived, my 4-yr-old girl got out her Barbie laptop and said "I've got to see what we need to do for the chicks."
